Grocery Xpress covers the entire city and the surrounding areas including Prince Township, Echo Bay, Heyden and Seachmount which will have weekly scheduled delivery service. You can always follow the Van’s next Location (Click here to check the calendar)

Yes, registration is to prevent fake orders. We take our business serious, and we value our customers, this helps to prevent fraud and lose of sales. You only need to register once, its quick and easy.
Ordering an item: Browse through our online store using the tabs for each category at the top of the page or use the search feature to find specific brands and items. Begin building your grocery cart by clicking on the item and using the add to cart. You can see the items you have added to your cart in the sidebar or by clicking on the cart icon at the top right of the page.
When you have added all the items to your grocery cart, proceed to the checkout to review the items in your cart and complete your order. You will receive a confirmation email with your order details. You will be contacted within 24 hours with a window in which you can expect your order to arrive.
Home Delivery: Currently home delivery locally is a flat rate of $12.50 We offer free delivery on orders over $100.00 (before taxes)
Prince Township, Gros Cap and The City Airport area are subject to extra fees because of the seer distance needed to travel back and forth. With higher min. wage and driving time it must be understood. (The flat rate for a taxi is $60.00 one way to the airport – 2018 rates)
Yes, all orders over $100.00 are eligible for free delivery within city limits.
It usually takes 24 hours to process your order, you will receive an email confirmation and you will receive a phone call just prior allowing a 3-hour window. You do not need to be home; your order will be set at the front door as any other delivery service. Grocery Xpress is not responsible for theft or damage once its left on the front step.
All deliveries are contactless. The delivery driver will wear gloves, a mask and use hand sanitizer between each delivery. The driver will always remain 6ft away. The driver will ring the doorbell or knock on the door as he leaves.
If you have a pet, we asked you keep it away from the front door for safety issues. The driver does not want to be jumped on, trip over or get bitten. If there is a Dog at the front door, the driver will not leave the package and you would need to make other arrangements for a 2nd delivery attempt resulting in additional delivery fees.
Your credit card is pre-authorized at checkout, but payment is not made until the order is confirmed and ready for delivery. This is to allow inventory and quality check on each item. If an item is not available, it will be removed, and your order would be adjusted automatically unless you ask for a substitution and the order would just be adjusted accordingly. You will receive an email confirmation and receipt to the email used to complete the order.
You can cancel your order within the 24-hour window and not be charged. If your order has been confirmed and you still want to cancel – there is a 25% restocking fee charged to the credit card. If they Van has left for delivery and you still want to cancel, we understand but the deliver fee is still charged to cover expenses.
Anyone wishing to pick up their order would need to phone the office or check the calendar online for the location of the Van.
The Veggie Box or Gift Basket would be the only thing you would need to pre-order in advance. We pack these fresh, so everything is calculated the day before. If you would like to order bulk vegetables in the fall for canning/freezer – yes, it is preferred. Please contact the office.
The Van and online stores function independently, so please note that you may find prices are different between them.
We have contacted private property owners for legal permission to park for a few hours per week for area residence. So, if you want to meet the Van at one of these locations, we ask to park properly and respect the property owner. Follow the calendar for locations and updates.
Yes, with proper permission. You would need to contact the office with the property owners name, address and phone number. Our office would send out a letter of request. Only once we make contact and get permission are we allowed to park the Location would be added to the calendar.
Yes, we have full commercial insurance on the business and van. Going beyond basic requirements, the Van itself has been inspected by Algoma Public Health & Fire Department. All delivery drivers have a police background check.
